Will it stay on while driving?
While we don't recommend leaving magnetic gear on year round since they can be lost in car washes, we have heard countless stories of people leaving our magnetic products on full time and surviving entire winters and summers through all weather conditions and highway speeds
For maximum safety, always:
- Clean the mounting surface
- Remove debris or ice
- Check placement before driving
Is my car magnetic?
Most are - test with a fridge magnet. Exceptions include Tesla Model S, newer F-150s, Audi Q-series, etc. The 2024+ Toyotas (Tacomas & Tundras) are magnetic around the front wheel wells.
How do I keep it from being stolen?
We leave it on during the day or toss it in the trunk when parked.
Is it easy to remove?
Yes - the magnets are strong but release cleanly with a pull.
